This formula ensures a total return on investment (ROI) in four years or less, and for 13 more years, a homeowner keeps earning SREC money.   • Residential net metering ensures a zero dollar electricity bill for the life of the solar panels (25 years).
  • Solar clients enjoy steady resources without fluctuating electricity bills throughout the year.
  • Total ROI recognized in four years or less when renewable energy solutions allow these Federal and State government incentives to trickle down to customers.
  • Under the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) net metering policies, a customer is allowed to produce a year’s worth of electricity. Extra production during daytime hours causes the meter to spin in reverse while during nighttime hours the meter spins forward in terms of consumption. Over the period of one year, the meter remains zero, thus you have net metering.
